Home Projects Throwback Thursday: Garden Box Addition

Throwback Thursday: Garden Box Addition

by Haylie + Amber

So for everyone up north today that is getting a blizzard in March, we are so sorry!  Here in the Carolinas, the trees are blooming, the flowers have all started to come back, and it’s pretty enjoyable to be outside when the suns out.  For that reason, we thought it would be a great idea to share one of our favorite outside additions, a garden box.If you are looking for a great spring project to have ready in time for some summer veggies then we have the project for you.  We both took a slightly different approach to this project so be sure to check them both out.

PLANTER BOX SERVING AS PRIVACY SCREEN

Amber wanted a planter box mainly for flowers that could be seen from her driveway to hide her trash cans.  However, this could still be used for some climbing veggies if you wanted.

How I Didn’t Buy Lunch All Summer!

Haylie immediately went for the veggies for her box and saved a lot of money of lunches in the process.  She has a great approach to this project.

Regardless of what you are looking for in terms of plants, this is one pretty easy project that would really get you ready for summer and scratch that itch to be outside.  We don’t know about anyone else but we are really ready to start working in our yards and getting them ready to enjoy for Spring.  Happy Thursday friends!
