It is a very special day today.  Today we get to celebrate Amber because TODAY IS HER BIRTHDAAAAAAYYYYY! Im lucky because I get to work with Amber not only with all things House Two House but also in our day jobs. We literally see each other every day and believe it or not… we never get tired of each other… well I don’t, I can’t speak for Amber.

Our relationship started as a professional one. Although we had gone to college together we didn’t actually run in the same circles so we didn’t really get to know each other until we started working together. It wasn’t long after that we both started noticing similarities between us. I mean heck, our birthdays are only 4 days apart! Then we realized we have similar family histories, and similar tendencies, and similar passions. There is now a running joke at work that we share a brain. I represent one-half and she represents the other. It does make for some excellent team work.

Beyond our similarities, I love this girl though and through. She is kind, brilliant, compassionate and she definitely gets brownie points for being a doggie lover. I still think Cooper is her better half…. Sorry, Daniel. Is it possible to have 3 halves? If so, you and Cooper can share that rank. 🙂 I admire her dedication to her family and her will-power. She is always helping her friends (adoptive family) and family members and does it with joy. I love how she is always up for an adventure and isn’t afraid to kick butt and take names when necessary.

The last 2.5 years of my life have been brighter just having her in it. So here’s to you A. Beels! Everyone raise your glass and toast a good year and many more to my, coworker, colleague and dear friend, Amber Beels.

Ha Ha! I said that you and Cooper can share that status! Y’all are equally adorable! Im just a little partial to puppies. I can’t help it. 🙂 Take no offense Daniel.
